Read our joint statement in collaboration with over 50 NGOs to commemorate victims of violence based on religion or belief
An advocacy campaign is being developed in consultation with human rights organizations. It calls on individuals and governments to make the following calls to action:
Recognise
Encourage individuals to recognise the atrocities and governments to undertake the necessary analysis to recognise the genocide and create policies that reflect the severity of the crimes committed.
Redress
Encourage governments to take action to prosecute perpetrators.
Rehabilitate
Encourage individuals and governments to provide financial support to women and children victimised by ISIS, including through the provision of trauma-sensitive health care, assistance to reunify families, and resettle displaced persons.
Remember
Encourage individuals and governments to support the collection of survivor accounts for a future memorial centre in Sinjar.
